Cindy Stranad APR

Partner/Chief Marketing Officer

Cindy has executed hundreds of marketing plans that convey the advertising and business value provided to customers, clients and the community. As principal and founder of Articulon, the firm has completed award-winning creative and public relations programs for its clients.

With a hands-on approach, every campaign is custom built to drive results based on the firm’s commitment to responsiveness and creativity. Her philosophy is about creating a voice and revealing the story. It’s also why she’s built a successful agency working with organizations that promote advocacy and cause-related initiatives.

As an accredited public relations professional, Cindy’s 20-year career combines agency, corporate, and consulting roles including experience as director of marketing for a media studio, senior brand manager for a national photofinisher, and account management positions with two of Adweek’s top 100 advertising agencies – Moroch and McKinney.

Her leadership extends to the community where she takes an active role in media, business and charitable organizations. She served on the board of Raleigh’s Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation for 6 years and led the advertising and PR efforts for the Center’s largest fundraiser, “A Toast to the Triangle.” She is currently on the board of the NCPRSA where she has served as the communications chair for three years. She has also served on the leadership committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cindy was also named to the Triangle Business Journal’s list of 40 Under 40.

Cindy earned her B.S. in public relations and marketing from Eastern Michigan University.

I met Cindy years ago while serving on the Board of Directors for the Tammy Lynn Center with her. I knew, at that time, she was passionate about her service and duty to the community, but it was not until recently that I learned how devoted she is to her clients. Our company retained Articulon to ‘brand’ us as well as lead us to marketing opportunities. Along with Mike Gauss, we have been impressed with the communication and delivery style and excited to build on their recommendations. To sum up: they are invaluable. If you are looking to strengthen your market share and client familiarity, you will be well served to engage Articulon.
