Articulon Wins Best in Division at Sir Walter Raleigh Awards

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 25, 2008) – Articulon, a Raleigh-based branding and public relations firm, received three Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for work performed on behalf of clients. The awards were presented by the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) on June 24, and judged by an independent group of professionals from the Sacramento Public Relations Association.

Two awards were for WCPE – TheClassicalStation.org’s campaign supporting public radio. Articulon captured the Gold for receiving national media coverage in the news release writing category. The same release obtained the Best in Division award, the highest honor given. It was achieved by receiving the overall top score from six categories within the public relations writing division.

In the special events category, Articulon won Honorable Mention for creative and program execution of the John Rex Endowment 2007 Hands of Health Award Breakfast.

The Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication are presented by RPRS and held annually to honor work by North Carolina communication professionals. The competition recognizes those who have achieved excellence in the field.

Articulon Receives Two 2008 Communicator Awards

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 20, 2008) – Articulon (www.articulon.com), a branding and public relations firm based in Raleigh, announced today that it has received two 2008 Communicator Awards. The international awards honor the best in communication excellence and are presented and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).

Articulon received awards in the print category; one for its publicity campaign on behalf of the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina, the second for cover story media placement for the Helms Mulliss Wicker law firm.

Women in the Triangle Magazine Recognizes Best in the Area

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 15, 2008)– Cindy Stranad, principal of Articulon, a Raleigh-based brand communication and public relations firm, has been named among the Triangle’s top women CEOs and presidents by Business Leader Media. The “Impact Women Business Owner” recognition distinguishes women who exemplify outstanding leadership in their professional field, as well as in the Triangle community. “I am honored to be named an Impact Woman Business Owner,” says Stranad. “This is a wonderful group of leaders and I am proud to be among them.” Stranad founded Articulon in 2002. Articulon Sponsors 2008 A Toast to the Triangle

Event Benefits Area Children and Adults with Special Needs

RALEIGH, N.C. (February 8, 2008)-Articulon, a Raleigh-based branding and public relations firm, announces today the company’s sponsorship of the 23rd annual A Toast to the Triangle. The firm is a Silver Circle Sponsor, donating $2,500 to the foundation. This marks Articulon’s fourth year sponsoring the Toast. Proceeds will benefit the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc., which in turn supports the programs and services of The Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. A Toast to the Triangle will be held March 9, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the N.C. State University McKimmon Center. “The Tammy Lynn Center continues to provide opportunities to individuals so they might maximize their abilities in a loving, nurturing environment – a goal shared by so many Tammy Lynn families,” says Cindy Stranad, a board member and 2008 Toast publicity committee chair. “It is an honor to continue to support the Toast.” Organizers are seeking to raise $200,000 to support Center operations, including educational, residential and family support services for children and adults with special needs. Articulon Brands Raleigh Staffing Firm

PR firm Articulon has been named the agency of record for Raleigh staffing firm Interim Connexions.

Articulon will lead a three-month campaign for Interim. Its work will focus on public relations and client development, the company said.

Interim Connexions focuses on placing workers in the financial, real estate, retail and technology industries. Articulon has done work with dozens of local companies.
