Articulon Creative Director Joins International Academy of the Visual Arts

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 24, 2008) – Robert Morrow, creative director of Articulon (www.articulon.com), a Raleigh-based brand communication and public relations firm, has been named to the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). IAVA is an invitation-based organization with membership restricted to professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts.

“I’m honored to be accepted into the International Academy of the Visual Arts,” says Morrow. “This is an excellent group of creative professionals, and I am proud to be among them.”

With more than 28 years of experience, Morrow’s work has been published in Creativity Annual’s international showcase for outstanding work in advertising and graphic design. He has also received multiple awards, and has been recognized by American Graphic Design, Ad Club of New York and the Triangle, and Magazine and Design Production.

Annual Awards Dinner Hosted by Raleigh Public Relations Society

Articulon won best in division and gold in the Special Event/Campaign category of the More Bang for Your Buck Division. In addition, Articulon received an honorable mention in the Annual/Special Report category of the Print Publication Division. Articulon accepted the awards during the 50th annual awards celebration hosted by the Raleigh Public Relations Society on June 16 at Marbles Kids Museum. Articulon Continues to Raise Awareness for Multiple Sclerosis

Serves as Communication Agency for St. Patty’s Run Green 8K

RALEIGH, N.C.  (February 27, 2009) – To support North Carolinians who fight MS,  Articulon (www.articulon.com), a Raleigh-based branding and public relations firm, is serving as communication agency and Gold Sponsor for the inaugural St. Patty’s Run Green 8K (www.stpattysrungreen.com).  Funds raised at the charity race will support National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Eastern North Carolina programs. The race is Sunday, March 8 in downtown Raleigh. More than 500 runners are expected to attend.

Articulon is managing marketing and public relations including: Web development, advertising and media relations. This builds upon Articulon’s previous work for the National MS Society. In 2008, Articulon supported three events, the Ridgewood Turkey Trot, the Dinner of Champions, and Walk MS providing PR and collateral development.

“The St. Patty’s Run Green 8K is a great way to encourage eco-friendly practices while supporting programs that directly affect and improve the lives of those living with MS in eastern North Carolina,” says Cindy Stranad, Articulon principal. “We’re proud to be a sponsor and to continue this step toward sustainability.”

The St. Patty’s Run Green 8K event will be held on a newly certified course in downtown Raleigh’s Moore Square.
