Articulon Retained By Two New Clients

Articulon, a full-service communication firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, announced today two new account wins within the Professional Services practice group. The accounts will be managed based on the firm’s proven expertise in media relations, social media and website development.
New business wins are:
- North Raleigh Law Group—North Raleigh Law Group serves as a “one-stop-shop” for all business legal needs: Entity Formation and Incorporating (LLCs & Corporations), Dispute Resolution, Lawsuits and Litigation, Business Divorce, Non-Compete Agreements, Collections, and many other legal services. A complete website redesign is underway for this law firm serving the Triangle for more than 25 years.
- CAI—With locations in Raleigh and Greensboro, CAI is a membership-driven organization that helps North Carolina employers maximize employee engagement and minimize employer liability through human resources and management advice, training, news, survey data, public policy advocacy and consulting services. Articulon has already begun a media relations campaign.

Triangle Residents Recycle Nearly 30,000 Pounds of Materials

More than 20,000 pounds of documents and nearly 9,000 pounds of electronics were collected, securely destroyed and recycled. The free event was put on by the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina.
“Identity theft remains a pertinent problem today. Events like this one go a long way in keeping an individual’s sensitive information out of the wrong hands,” said Steve Fromme, president and CEO of Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina. “BBB is proud to be able to provide consumers the opportunity to shred personal documents and destroy retired electronic devices in a safe and environmentally friendly way.”
Coastal Federal Credit Union served as location sponsors, promoting the importance of identity protection and security in the community. Free document shredding services were provided by PROSHRED® Security and A Shred Ahead®. Local recycler, GEEP, collected all electronics for secure and eco-friendly destruction.
To date, the “Secure Your ID” Day events have safely destroyed more than 390,000 pounds of sensitive documents and nearly 100,000 pounds of electronics. The event is held in the spring and fall each year. For more information, visit bbbshred.org.

Articulon Recognized at Sir Walter Raleigh Awards

The agency was recognized during the annual Sir Walter Raleigh Awards banquet on September 23 for its work on behalf of the International Festival of Raleigh and Sig Hutchinson for Wake County Commissioner. Articulon won silver for the entry: Digital Video Campaign Helps Sig Hutchinson Win County Commissioner Election. The agency also received an Honorable Mention for Total Campaigns: International Festival.

CorePower Yoga Enters NC Market

CorePower Yoga is entering the North Carolina market in November 2015 with their inaugural location in Raleigh’s Cameron Village shopping center on the corner of Woodburn Road and Cameron Street. This will be the first of five locations to be opened within the next few years, according to the franchisee.
“With the recent and continued growth of the Triangle area, health-centric culture, and friendly business community, entering the North Carolina market was a natural next step in our brand’s expansion,” said New Market Opening Manager Jessica Sharpe. “We’re excited to join the Raleigh community as well as become a part of our future students’ healthy lifestyles.”
The Raleigh location will be open seven days a week with classes offered throughout the day, beginning at 6 a.m. and ending at 10 p.m. The studio space is approximately 5,500 square feet will be equipped with two large studios and a men and women’s locker room. It will offer four varieties of classes, including CorePower 1, CorePower 2, Hot Power Fusion, and Yoga Sculpt.
CorePower classes are a formatted style of yoga, offering consistency and a great workout with every teacher and every studio. The consistency also offers accessibility; whether you are a seasoned yoga practitioner or a brand-new yoga student, the community environment sets up students for success.
The first CorePower Yoga location opened its doors in 2002 in Denver, C.O. Since then, they have opened over 100 studios nationwide, making yoga accessible to all through consistent class formatting and a unique style of power yoga.
